Frequently Asked
The questions we get asked most.
Most of what people want to know before they call. If your question isn't here, just pick up the phone — (479) 782-2088.

How much does a move with Koller cost?
Every move is quoted individually — local, long-distance, interstate, and commercial. Cost depends on how much you're moving, how far, and the date. Call (479) 782-2088, use our contact page, or ask Joe (our chat assistant) for a ballpark, and we'll follow up to build your estimate. No deposits, no upfront fees.
02How far in advance should I book?

How far in advance should I book?
Peak season is from May to September and requires a lead time of two to four weeks. For weekday moves outside peak season, a week's notice is usually fine. Weekend and same-day moves are on a case-by-case basis when a crew is available — call and ask.
03Are you available for military / PCS moves?
+
Are you available for military / PCS moves?
Yes — Koller is a US Military-approved mover and warehouse serving Fort Chaffee, the 188th Wing, Ebbing Air, and surrounding bases. We're familiar with the PCS process and requirements. See our military moves page for more.
04Do you offer storage?
+
Do you offer storage?
Yes. Our warehouse on E Street in Fort Smith offers storage-in-transit, short-term, and long-term storage. Let our Sales Team know your needs for a quote.
05Do you provide packing materials?
+
Do you provide packing materials?
Yes — when our crew packs for you, we bring the boxes, paper, bubble wrap, and tape, and it's all part of the packing service. We don't run a retail supply counter, so if you're packing yourself, a moving-supply or home-improvement store is your best bet for boxes.
06What CAN'T you transport?
+
What CAN'T you transport?
Federal regulations prevent us from moving propane tanks, gasoline, paint, batteries, ammunition, fireworks, and aerosols. We don't transport pets, but our Sales Team can direct you to pet shipping solutions. Plants, important documents, jewelry, or irreplaceable items should travel with you in your own vehicle.
07Are there services you don't offer?
+
Are there services you don't offer?
A few, and we'd rather you know up front: we don't move hot tubs, we don't do hoisting or rigging (craning furniture through windows), and we don't offer cleaning services. Knowing this ahead of time lets you line up the right specialist before move day.
08Do you disconnect washers, dryers, or other appliances?
+
Do you disconnect washers, dryers, or other appliances?
No — for safety and liability reasons we don't unhook appliances, especially anything connected to a water line. Please have washers, ice makers, and gas appliances disconnected before the crew arrives, or hire a plumber to handle it. Once they're unhooked, we're glad to move them.
09Are you licensed and insured?
+
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Koller Moving is an independently licensed interstate motor carrier — USDOT 3137977, MC-97273-C — fully licensed for intrastate Arkansas moves and properly insured for both local and interstate moves. We'll provide certificates of insurance if you need them for an apartment complex, office, or HOA.
10Do you provide moving labor only (without a truck)?
+
Do you provide moving labor only (without a truck)?
Yes. If you have a rental truck and just need a crew to load or unload, we can do that. There's a minimum — call and we'll go over the details.
